The ‘five-fold’ ministry is found in Ephesians 4:11, and it refers to the five ministries that Yahweh has called some men and women to in the Church. These roles are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Even though the words ‘five-fold ministry’ do not appear in the scriptures, they are recognisable amongst many believers to refer to this scripture and others found in the New Testament. This course examines the significance of these five ministries, charts their development, and explores how they are meant to work together for the benefit of the Congregation.
