Children don’t stay children for long. They grow up, mature and become responsible young adults, taking their place in society. The same is true in Yahweh’s Household, and it’s called coming of age. As a disciple of Yahshua, you are expected to take up disciplines, engage in learning and education to become more established in your faith, to prepare you to take up an active position in Yahweh’s household. This course will help you understand this unique development process that enables young believers to navigate their way into adulthood and become fully participating members of Yahweh’s household. The writer to the Hebrews addressed some believers who had failed to come of age – they had not grown up. “You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews 5:12-14 NIVUK
You go on to be an effective servant of Yahweh when you submit yourself to the principles and disciplines of discipleship.
